One distinguishing feature of the practice is the commitment to treating individuals who suffer from tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and hyperacusis (sound sensitivity). Tinnitus is a common problem, affecting about 17% of the population around the world (44 million people in the USA). It causes great suffering in about 4% of the general population (10 million in the USA).

Dr. Eschenbrenner has been licensed to practice audiology since 1998. She opened her private practice specializing in comprehensive hearing services, amplification, and tinnitus treatment in 2007. |
